SPRING IN SAVANNAH

SAVANNAH, GA

MARCH 22 - 28, 2026

Prepare for a warmer climate as we travel south to beautiful Savannah Georgia. We begin with a travel day to Charlotte, NC for the night. Departing Charlotte, we arrive at the Billy Graham Library where we learn the life and legacy of “America’s Pastor” and tour this beautiful 40,000 sq ft facility. Boarding, we continue to Savannah for a rousing dinner at Pirates House Restaurant, where past pirates and sailors would rendezvous for food and drink; we will ride a trolley through Savannah’s “dark side” with stories of ghosts, hangings, and murders; visit some truly historic buildings and museums, enjoy a relaxing dinner cruise on the Savannah River, spend a full day shopping and exploring Tybee Island, and a Broadway-style musical in one of the oldest operating theaters in the US.

Day 1:  Today is a full day of travel to Drury Inn & Suites, Charlotte, NC, where we will stay tonight. Dinner is included at the hotel or (on your own) at nearby restaurants.

Day 2:  After breakfast (included) we will visit the Billy Graham Library, celebrating over 75 years of Gospel Ministry. Tour the 40,000 sq foot experience where you discover the life and legacy of America’s Pastor. Lunch is included before we continue our journey to Savannah, GA where we check in at the Hilton Garden Inn. After check in we have time to freshen up before dinner at Pirates’ House Restaurant, a unique dining experience in a facility that was a favorite rendezvous for bloodthirsty pirates and rugged sailors to eat and drink. After dinner we board our trolley for a “Ghosts and Gravestones Tour”. This 75-minute tour offers fun stories of ghosts, hangings, murders, and even stops for a visit to the Andrew Low House, located on the site of the Old City Jail, and Perkins & Sons Ships Chandlery with their tales of spirits haunting River Street.

DAY 3:  Breakfast (included) before we board for a full day of adventure beginning with a guided city tour of historic Savannah, presented by a knowledgeable and registered local guide. Highlights include the 2.2 square miles of the Historic District’s restored 18th & 19th century buildings, splendid homes, gorgeous parks, the  picturesque waterfront, and The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, an iconic symbol of Savannah. Lunch will be on your own before we depart for Pin Point Heritage Museum, located on the site of the A.S. Varn & Sons oyster and crab factory in PinPoint. The company operated until 1985 when it closed and marked the end of an era for this tiny fishing community, tucked away on the banks of the Moon River. Founded by first-generation freedmen, this self-sustained city survived for over one hundred years; where family, religion and work were deeply connected to the water. Our evening begins with a Savannah River Dinner Cruise, where we can relax and enjoy this beautiful Riverboat and also a delicious buffet-style dinner with dance music by the riverboat entertainers.

DAY 4:  Breakfast (included) before we cruise to Tybee Island for the day. Here we will be treated to a traditional Low Country Boil Dinner and an evening with locals who share stories and show us how Southerners entertain at the beach, TYBEE STYLE.

DAY 5:  Breakfast (included) before a guided tour of Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah’s most famous and hauntingly beautiful cemetery who has captured the imaginations of writers, poets, naturalists, photographers, and filmmakers for over 150 years We travel back to the Savannah Historic District for lunch (on your own) and enjoy some free time to shop and explore.
