Join us as we tip-toe through the Tulips at Hollands Tulip Time Festival. For 95 years millions of people have visited and enjoyed this festival with over 6 million Tulips on display. Heralded as the nations Best Flower Festival, this will be a beautiful adventure. We will also attend a performance from Fiddlefire, a musical group who have entertained Tulip Time for over 20 years and the amazing magic and comedy of Michael Carbonaro, in addition to enjoying the Dutch hospitality and some great Dutch food!
Day 1: Traveling to Holland, MI, we arrive at the Holiday Inn Express. After check in we gather to explore the Tulip Immersion Garden, the first U.S. installation by Ibo Gulsen of the Netherlands. Mr. Gulsen, a member of the International Garden Tourism Network, is known for magnificent floral displays worldwide. Dinner tonight is (included) at Holland's Immersion Garden and includes a live performance from Fiddlefire, a multi-talented group who have entertained Tulip Time attendees for over 20 years.
Day 2: After breakfast (included) we begin our day with a trip through Veldheer Tulip Gardens with its acres of blooming Tulips and vast array colors and types. We will visit De Klomp Wooden Shoe & Delftware Factory and watch craftsmen carve wooden shoes on machines brought over from the Netherlands, as well as artists molding, hand painting and glazing Delftware. This afternoon we will enjoy our reserved seats at Kinderparade, one of Michigans largest and most spectacular parades! Featured are street scrubbers in Dutch costumes & wooden shoes, spectacular floats, balloons and bands. Dinner tonight is (included) at another of Hollands fine restaurants, before we have some free time to relax at the hotel.
DAY 3: Breakfast (included) begins our day before we board for a guided tour of Holland, the center of Dutch culture in America. Our local guide highlights the Tulip-lined city streets, historic churches, charming neighborhoods, bustling downtown & more. A palette of color awaits as we enter Hollands treasured Windmill Island, home of DeZwaan, the only authentic Dutch windmill operating in the United States. We will have some free time to explore and enjoy the Tulip Festival on Windmill Island with its costumed guides, and Amsterdam street organ, a hand painted carousel, and tulips everywhere! This evening dinner is (included) before we enjoy reserved seating for the performance of Michael Carbonaros magic and comedy show, the 2026 Tulip Festivals featured entertainment.
DAY 4: Breakfast is (included) before we enjoy a guided tour of Cappon & Settlers House and time for shopping at the Dutch Artisan Marketplace, before we board for our journey back home.
